H1B is one of the most popular non-immigrant visas to work in the US. Because of its popularity, USCIS accepts applications from prospective employees during the month of March. USCIS conducts a lottery as it receives many more applications than the available 85,000 visas (60,000 regular + 25,000 master quota).
The registration period started on March 7, 2025, and ended on March 24, 2025. During this period, employers register their potential employees who are seeking a new H1B Visa under the cap quota. The official announcement with the lottery results generally does not come out until a few days after the registration period ends. However, based on past historical data, many law firms start sharing the lottery results on the X platform. This year is no exception—while we do not have any official announcement yet from USCIS, we are already seeing the lottery results come out.
